Chapter 14 The Press

Inspired by newsrooms from the early 20th century, these mosaics create classic repeating patterns frequently found in the architecture and design of the time.

Born from simple shapes, a 5/8” hexagon and 1/2” square, Chapter 14 is reminiscent of individual dots of ink set on paper by a printing press. These shapes are used throughout the collection to create designs and patterns found in the architecture and design of the early 1900s.
