You made the right choice! Doing business with Facings is easy and fun. Here's everything you need to know about buying with Facings.
Payment Terms
To make it easier on you, a 100% non-refundable deposit is required for all Residential orders with values under $1,000.00. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all Residential orders over $1,000.00. A 100% non-refundable deposit is required for all Commercial orders with values under $5,000.00. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all Commercial orders over $5,000.00.
Quotations are valid for 14 days from date of issue and are subject to change without prior notice (we’ll do our best to communicate any changes). Payment in full is due prior to material being released from the FoA warehouse. Any open orders not paid for upon request will have all deposits and materials forfeited to Facings of America, Inc. We don’t want that to happen, so please contact us in writing if alternate arrangements need to be made. The purchaser is responsible for all applicable sales tax, freight and handling charges.
Return Policy
Special order, non-stocked items are so special that they are non-returnable. FoA stocked items, while still really special, may be returned within 30 days of material pick-up with a purchase receipt. FoA stocked items accepted for return must be returned in full, unopened boxes and are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The purchaser is also responsible for any applicable freight and handling fees associated with a return.
Lead Times
Stuff happens, so lead times are estimates only. FoA is not liable and/or responsible for delays and/or non-delivery of items by estimated due dates caused by factory, shipping, or customs delays. Lead times quoted begin upon receipt of factory confirmation. Please allow 48 hours for order processing. We recommend that installation is not scheduled until orders are received by the purchaser in its entirety.
Material Variation
Materials sold by FoA are characterized by variation in color, shade, texture, and shape and will vary from provided samples. Natural stone is subject to honing marks, veining, holes, pits, fissures, inclusions, staining, etc., and requires regular sealing and maintenance. Size, shading, lot numbers, etc. may not be available for reorder; sufficient quantities should be ordered at the time of initial order placement.
Material Estimation & Usage
FoA is not responsible for determining quantities of materials, shortages, or overages (we’re better at other things). Usage, installation, and maintenance of materials purchased from FoA practiced by the purchaser are outside the direction and control of FoA and are strictly the responsibility of the purchaser.
Installation Constitutes Acceptance
Let’s make sure it’s right! Any discrepancies or concerns regarding quality or appearance must be resolved prior to installation. An approving party should lay out and inspect all material prior to installation. Any additional costs for labor, transportation, fabrication, modification, or materials are the responsibility of the purchaser. Material is accepted by the purchaser in "as is" condition at the time of material pick up. FoA is not responsible for material damage once it has left the premises.
Storage & Storage Fees
Your tile will love it here, but it can’t stay forever. Completed orders are required to be picked up from the FoA warehouse within 10 calendar days of the ready date notification. Orders remaining in our warehouse beyond 10 calendar days will incur a monthly $28 charge per pallet.
Outlet Terms & Conditions
Our Outlet features Facings quality products at closeout prices! Our inventory changes frequently, so give us a ring at 602-955-9217 to check current stock. Remember, specific sizes, colors, finishes, shades, and calibers might not be available. The prices you see on our website are for the current stock in our Phoenix warehouse only.
Here's the deal: all orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase and picked up within five business days—no holds, no exceptions. Sorry, but we can't cancel, change, or refund Outlet tile orders after two business days from your purchase date. These gems go fast, so if you spot something you love, don't hesitate to call us!
Air Freight Terms & Conditions
Let it be known that Facings of America does not recommend your order take flight, especially large format tile. Wait, what? It’s true. Our vast experience tells us that large format tiles love to break when flying the friendly skies. But, if it’s necessary to give your tile wings, there are a few things you should know.
Upfront Payment and No Refunds: Get ready to seal the deal, because all air freight shipments require the full payment upfront. We're talking serious business here, no room for delays; your order is our top priority. Hold on to your hat because there are no refunds offered on broken tile due to air turbulence.
Handle with Care: Our mission is to ensure your fragile order reaches its destination unscathed. Facings is committed to safe shipping and will handle your material with the utmost care. However, when your orders take flight, they're subject to a world of variables (like turbulence) outside of our control. Always order additional tile in the event that there is significant breakage.
