Dogs have become members of our family, these little beings that live with us and wholly trust us without even knowing our names have stolen our hearts and become the apples of our eyes. It is only right to treat them as such, this luxurious eye shaped dog house gives your dog shelter but not concealing the presence of our companions. The house contains a rope curtain that can be chewed on and is made out of a durable synthetic material for the roof/floor with glass tube posts that can contain dog toys, treats, and even a favorite: socks.

Sasha-Headshot_2019_web.jpgAleksandra (Sasha) Tesanovic has been with PHX Architecture since 2017 when she was interning while earning her Master’s in Architecture at Arizona State University. Now a full-time Architectural Associate I, Sasha works on both the residential and commercial sides of PHX.

Born and raised in Eastern Sarajevo, Sasha’s experience living in the Yugoslavian war as a child inspired her interest in Architecture at a very young age. Influenced by the devastation of her community and the cities around her, she realized the positive impact of Architecture and how it can restore and rebuild a community. To her, architecture symbolizes power and safety, and ultimately new beginnings.

During her time studying at Arizona State University, Sasha was nominated for design excellence in two separate studios and has also become an intricate player in every project she has worked at PHX. As she continues her career, Sasha hopes to make an impact on PHX with her passion for artistic ventures, design, and creating meaningful connections.

Outside of the office, Sasha enjoys playing violin, tennis, learning about history, and playing with her dog, Svarog.

This event serves to raise awareness and support for the Arizona Animal Welfare League, and exhibit to the public the high-quality design talent of the participating teams.
